Juan Lares vs Jose Mancebo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mashaba Promotions promoted show at Francisco Murga Gym, Managua,  taking place on 27/02/2044:

Clearly Mashaba Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Lares (3 - 9(2) - 1) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Jose Mancebo(8 - 8 - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Lares and Mancebo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Porfio Sanchez, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Galea, Franco Charo and Salvador Oyola.  

Round 1: 

Mancebo connects with a right hook.  
Lares tries to land a jab, but Mancebo slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mancebo closes the distance.  Lares tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Mancebo gets on the inside.  Lares lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lares's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mancebo's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Mancebo steps inside.  Lares goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Mancebo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Lares is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Mancebo throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lares quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lares dabs at his face checking for damage.  Lares has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Mancebo advances into close range.  Mancebo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lares lands a left uppercut.  
Mancebo lands a left uppercut.
