Michel Desnos vs Reneilwe Zulu

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 17/03/2044:

Clearly African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michel Desnos (8(4) - 0) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Reneilwe Zulu(13(8) - 8) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Both Desnos and Zulu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Perlo, and the three ringside judges are James Baldacchino, Tavon Wanga and Dembe Mutunga.  

Round 1: 

Desnos lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Desnos feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Zulu attempts to land a left hook, but Desnos slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Zulu's ribs.  
Desnos lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Desnos gets on the inside.  Desnos pivots to the left of his opponent.  Zulu tries to land a right hook, but Desnos blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Zulu walks Desnos onto the ropes.  Zulu throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Zulu's ribs.  
Desnos connects with a left uppercut.  
Zulu gets on the inside.  Desnos digs in a right hook to Zulu's body.  
Zulu attempts to land a cross, but Desnos sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Zulu hits home with a cross.  
Desnos gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Desnos lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Desnos finds the target with a hard jab.

Desnos is looking to close the distance and lands a solid left hook.  
Desnos hits home with a left hook.  Desnos tries to land a left uppercut, but Zulu slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Desnos attempts to land a jab, but Zulu sidesteps and counters with a FEROCIOUS right hook.  DESNOS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Zulu stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Zulu lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS DESNOS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Desnos now seems to have got his legs back.  
Desnos is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Desnos dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zulu's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Zulu's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Desnos manages to force Zulu onto the ropes.  Desnos pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Zulu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Desnos attempts to land a left hook, but Zulu sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Desnos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Desnos lands a ramrod jab.  
Desnos gets on the inside.  Zulu tries to land a right hook, but Desnos blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Zulu is on target with a jab.  
Zulu steps inside.  Desnos pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Desnos lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Desnos walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Desnos lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Desnos throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Desnos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Zulu drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Desnos pivots to the right of his opponent.  Desnos is on target with a left hook.  Desnos tries to land a right hook, but Zulu slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Zulu hits home with a stinging cross.  
Desnos drives a left hook into Zulu's body.  
Zulu connects with a solid left hook.

Zulu lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Desnos lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Desnos attempts to land a left hook, but Zulu slips the shot and counters with a big left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE DESNOS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Zulu stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Zulu DETONATES a mean right uppercut on his opponents face.  DOWN GOES DESNOS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Desnos now seems to have his senses back.

Zulu pivots to the left of his opponent.  Desnos lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Zulu lands a left hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS DESNOS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Zulu!
