Jose Pequeno vs Fidel Labrador

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwanambulo Promotions promoted show at Eloy Marcelino Gym, Panama City,  taking place on 28/02/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Panama-Panama State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Pequeno (39(37) - 8(6)) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Fidel Labrador(9 - 12(5) - 1) from Panama City, Panama.  Pequeno weighed in at 147 pounds, while Labrador weighed in at 147 pounds And 11 ounces.    As Labrador came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Zelipe Prudencio, and the three ringside judges are Roman Giraldo, Vicente Madrid and Malvolio Rosa.  

Round 1: 

Pequeno is on target with a sharp cross.  
Pequeno steps away from his opponent.  Pequeno feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Pequeno hits home with a stinging cross.  
Pequeno lands a ramrod jab.  
Pequeno digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Pequeno steps away from his opponent and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Labrador gets on the inside.  Pequeno pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right uppercut's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Labrador advances into close range and walks Pequeno down, trapping him in a corner.  Pequeno lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Labrador steps inside.  Pequeno lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Pequeno clinches his opponent.  Pequeno is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pequeno is on target with a solid left hook to Labrador's liver.  
Pequeno feints a left hook, and then lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Pequeno lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, KNOCKING LABRADOR DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Pequeno!
