Ives Balde vs Julien Mendy

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Senegal promoted show at Marius Ndiaye Arena, Dakar,  taking place on 27/03/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Senegal Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ives Balde (17(5) - 1 - 1) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Julien Mendy(38(14) - 25(14) - 3) from Touba, Senegal.  Both Balde and Mendy weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ranger Angrand, and the three ringside judges are Audric Trzeguet, Dominique Le Roy Ladurie and Montrell Noury.
