Felix Wood vs Michael Loane

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Hands Arena, Chicago,  taking place on 30/03/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Felix Chop Chop Wood (17(14) - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Michael Loane(23(12) - 11(6)) from Bridgeport, USA.  Both Wood and Loane weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Baker, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Gillies, Alen Valentine and Sid Ready.  

Round 1: 

Wood lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Wood walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Wood lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wood lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Wood lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.

Loane walks Wood onto the ropes.  Loane pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.

Wood is on target with a stinging right hook to Loane's ribcage.  
Wood closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Wood lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wood digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Loane hits home with a firm cross.  
Loane attempts to land a jab, but Wood sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wood gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND LOANE IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Wood senses Loane is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Wood lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS LOANE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Loane now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Wood steps inside.  Wood quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Wood lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Loane's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Loane's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Wood is looking to close the distance.  Wood quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Loane attempts to land a right hook, but Wood blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Loane lands a sharp right hook.  Loane tries to land a jab, but Wood dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Loane tries to land a jab, but Wood blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Wood steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Loane recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Wood advances into close range.  Loane pivots from in front of his opponent.  Wood digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Wood ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Wood pushes his forearm into Loane's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wood about fouling.

It looks like Loane has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
