Ximen Escalante vs Jacob Skeldon

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Edwards Hall, Miami,  taking place on 26/03/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ximen Escalante (7(1) - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Jacob Skeldon(5 - 16(3) - 4) from Wichita, USA.  Both Escalante and Skeldon weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Gillund, and the three ringside judges are Eduardo Liberato, Paul Bason and Inigo Poyner.  

Round 1: 

Escalante advances into close range.  Escalante pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a firm left uppercut into Skeldon's body.

As they grapple, Skeldon pushes his forearm into Escalante's face.  The ref breaks Escalante's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

As they grapple, Escalante pushes his forearm into Skeldon's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Escalante to stop fouling.

Escalante leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Escalante throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Escalante throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Escalante lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Skeldon throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Skeldon walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Skeldon hits home with a left hook.  
Escalante throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Escalante lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Skeldon advances into close range.  Escalante connects with a right hook.  
Skeldon attempts to land a left hook, but Escalante parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.
