Sigge Spong vs Alex Engholm

Boxing Daily Report from the Eriyo Promotions promoted show at Joel Sjostrom Gym, Stockholm,  taking place on 03/03/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Sweden-Stockholm Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sigge Spong (2 - 20 - 2) who hails from Stockholm, Sweden and Alex Engholm(12 - 4 - 3) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Spong and Engholm weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Axel Ansell, and the three ringside judges are Carl Alvin, John Norstrom and Leo Fahlstrom.  

Round 1: 

Engholm closes the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Spong connects with a cross.  
Spong drives a left hook into Engholm's body.  
Engholm voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Spong accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Engholm.  Spong lands a left hook.
