Jose Hernandez vs Juan Ovando

Boxing Daily Report from the BIG STAR PROMOTIONS promoted show at Havana Cabanas, Havana,  taking place on 07/03/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cuba-Havana Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Hernandez (28(19) - 4(3)) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Juan Ovando(6 - 2 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Hernandez weighed in at 108 pounds, while Ovando weighed in at 107 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luis Cruz, and the three ringside judges are Montel Albarran, Jax Telleria and Fanuco Recio.  

Round 1: 

Hernandez is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a sharp jab.
