Euan Peponi vs Laken Kipkurui

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kabira, Nairobi,  taking place on 05/03/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Euan Peponi (3 - 5(2)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Laken Kipkurui(29 - 15(6) - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Peponi and Kipkurui weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Abed, and the three ringside judges are Sam Waiyaki, Rob Birdi and Richie Bitok.  

Round 1: 

Kipkurui is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Kipkurui pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
