John Verwoerd vs Rex Pretorius

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Eastern Cape promoted show at Eghenyan Gym, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 08/03/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Eastern Cape Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Verwoerd (4(1) - 2(1)) who hails from East London, South Africa and Rex Pretorius(3(3) - 0) from East London, South Africa.  Verwoerd weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces, while Pretorius weighed in at 130 pounds.
