Shinji Kubo vs Akira Oye

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Yuichi Kawashima Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 07/03/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shinji Kubo (6 - 18(1) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Akira Oye(5 - 15 - 5) from Tokyo, Japan.  Kubo weighed in at 147 pounds And 13 ounces, while Oye weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Goro Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Toyama, Yoshi Tanaka and Hikaru Mikami.  

Round 1: 

Kubo switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Kubo is on target with a left uppercut to Oye's liver.

Kubo gets on the inside.  Kubo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
