Jamie Ridpath vs Oscar Edmison

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at Gaineau Boag, Gaineau,  taking place on 20/02/2044:

Clearly AI Canada-Quebec have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jamie Ridpath (6 - 0) who hails from Mississauga, Canada and Oscar Edmison(4 - 1 - 1) from Calgary, Canada.  Ridpath weighed in at 147 pounds, while Edmison weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Morton, and the three ringside judges are Courvoisier Hinault, Ferrand Pradon and Donatien Auteuil.  

Round 1: 

Ridpath lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ridpath pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Edmison quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Edmison throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ridpath advances into close range.  Ridpath sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by two right uppercut's to the head.  
Edmison throws a left hook, but Ridpath holds on to his opponent.  Ridpath is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ridpath to stop fouling.  
Ridpath drives a sharp right hook into Edmison's body.  
Ridpath lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ridpath sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Edmison lands a right hook.

Ridpath gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Ridpath holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Edmison pushes his forearm into Ridpath's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Edmison.  
Edmison attempts to land a left hook, but Ridpath slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ridpath manouvers Edmison onto the ropes.  Ridpath drives a right uppercut into Edmison's body.  Ridpath holds on to his opponent.  Ridpath is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Ridpath uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Edmison's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ridpath drives a right hook into Edmison's body.  
Ridpath lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Edmison lands a cross.  
Ridpath drives a left hook into his opponents liver.

Ridpath DETONATES a FEARSOME right uppercut on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE EDMISON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ridpath connects with a mean cross.  EDMISON IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Edmison now seems to have got his legs back.  
At the end of Round 4, lets listen in on the corners...Ridpath's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Ridpath senses Edmison is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Ridpath lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, KNOCKING EDMISON DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.

Ridpath lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS EDMISON TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Edmison the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ridpath!
