Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, Stuttgart,  taking place on 19/03/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berowalt Pelikan (11(7) - 0) who hails from Berlin, Germany and Vikenti Devin(18 - 8(1) - 3) from Moscow, Russia.  Both Pelikan and Devin weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Janez Kring, and the three ringside judges are Janez Casper, Arick Strebe and Wilburt Jude.  

Round 1: 

Pelikan steps inside and digs in a left hook to Devin's ribs.  Pelikan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pelikan pushes his forearm into Devin's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pelikan pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pelikan lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Pelikan clinches his opponent.  Pelikan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pelikan about fouling.  
Pelikan lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Pelikan throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Pelikan clinches his opponent.  Pelikan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Devin behind the head. 
Pelikan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Pelikan cuts off the ring, trapping Devin in a neutral corner.  Pelikan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pelikan is on target with a right hook.  Pelikan ties up his opponent.  Pelikan hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Pelikan gets on the inside.  Pelikan pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS DEVIN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Pelikan stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Pelikan lands a left hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body.  He then lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Devin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Devin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pelikan is on target with a jab.  
Devin throws a right uppercut, but Pelikan clinches his opponent.  Pelikan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pelikan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pelikan lands a right hook.  Pelikan ties up his opponent.  Pelikan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pelikan cuts off the ring, trapping Devin in the corner.  Pelikan is on target with a left hook.  Pelikan holds on to his opponent.  Pelikan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Pelikan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pelikan is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Devin sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Devin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pelikan lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Pelikan steps inside.  Pelikan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Pelikan lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Devin attempts to land a right hook, but Pelikan blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Pelikan advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Devin steps away from his opponent.  Pelikan lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Pelikan hits the target with a hard jab.  
Pelikan closes the distance.  Pelikan pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Pelikan gets on the inside.  Pelikan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Pelikan drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Pelikan whips in a hurtful left hook to Devin's body.  DEVIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Devin quickly recovers. 
Pelikan walks Devin down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pelikan pivots to the left of his opponent.  Pelikan throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Pelikan ties up his opponent.  Pelikan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pelikan lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Pelikan tries to land a right hook, but Devin parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Devin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pelikan lands a spiteful jab.  
Pelikan is on target with a sharp cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Devin's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Devin's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Devin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Devin's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Pelikan feints a right hook, and then lands a hard jab.  
Pelikan steps inside.  Pelikan backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Devin tries to tag Pelikan on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Pelikan connects with a right hook.  
Devin steps to the outside.  Pelikan connects with an overhand right.

Pelikan steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pelikan lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Devin almost instantly recovers.
