Nemesio Chicas vs Baltasar Quijas

Boxing Daily Report from the Majola Promotions promoted show at Angel Marrero Gym, Córdoba,  taking place on 16/03/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Córdoba Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nemesio Chicas (9 - 6 - 1) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Baltasar Quijas(6 - 7(1) - 3) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Chicas weighed in at 147 pounds, while Quijas weighed in at 147 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Quijas came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Mendivil, and the three ringside judges are Guillermo Lanza, Vicente Coito and Rogelio Mosqueda.

Chicas is looking to close the distance.  As Quijas tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chicas dabs at his face checking for damage.  Chicas has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
