Juan Luque vs Chris Scholar

Boxing Daily Report from the Brenin Promotions promoted show at Carver Theatre, Birmingham,  taking place on 29/02/2044:

Clearly Brenin Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Luque (5(1) - 0) who hails from Mixco, Guatemala and Chris Scholar(2(1) - 0) from Boise, USA.  Both Luque and Scholar weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Anderson, and the three ringside judges are Mark Hush, James Younie and Louis Garrow.  

Round 1: 

Scholar attempts to land a cross, but Luque dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Luque lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Scholar is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Scholar dabs at his face checking for damage.  Scholar has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Luque steps away from his opponent.  Scholar finds the target with a jab.  
Scholar is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Luque throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
