John Protheroe vs Keith Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Eoin Moore promoted show at Bolton School Arts & Conference Centre, Bolton,  taking place on 19/03/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Protheroe (2 - 13 - 2) who hails from Huddersfield, UK and Keith Owen(6 - 1 - 3) from Hull, UK.  Both Protheroe and Owen weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rhod Secombe, and the three ringside judges are David Duffy, Arran Bogle and Bradley Hughes.  

Round 1: 

Owen advances into close range.  Protheroe connects with a left hook.  
Owen closes the distance.  Protheroe attempts to land a left hook, but Owen slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
