Duncan Patillo vs Dave Dunsmore

Boxing Daily Report from the Eddie Burns promoted show at Rehman Shehata Gym, Los Angeles,  taking place on 07/03/2044:

Clearly Eddie Burns have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Duncan Patillo (7(2) - 0) who hails from Riverside, USA and Dave Dunsmore(0 - 4(1)) from Rochester, USA.  Patillo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Dunsmore weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Seay, and the three ringside judges are Declan Gaunce, David Merricks and Vicente Quijas.  

Round 1: 

Patillo hits home with a stinging cross.

Patillo lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Patillo holds on to his opponent.  Patillo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Patillo about fouling.  
Patillo cuts off the ring, trapping Dunsmore in a corner.  Patillo is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Patillo lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Patillo holds on to his opponent.  Patillo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Dunsmore throws a right hook, but Patillo ties up his opponent.  Dunsmore uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Patillo behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Dunsmore.  
Patillo closes the distance.  Patillo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Patillo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Patillo advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Patillo connects with a stinging right hook.  
Patillo attempts to land a left hook, but Dunsmore blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Patillo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Patillo hits home with a firm left hook.  Patillo holds on to his opponent.  Patillo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Patillo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Patillo connects with a sharp left hook.  
Patillo is on target with a solid right hook to Dunsmore's ribcage.  
Patillo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Patillo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Patillo lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Patillo closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Dunsmore's body.  
Patillo drives a potent left hook into his opponents body.  DUNSMORE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.

Patillo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Patillo gets on the inside and digs in a left uppercut to Dunsmore's ribs.  
Patillo drives a right hook into Dunsmore's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Dunsmore's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Dunsmore's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Dunsmore's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Patillo gets on the inside and crashes a nasty left hook to Dunsmore's body.  DUNSMORE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Patillo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Patillo lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS DUNSMORE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Dunsmore has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Patillo walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  As Patillo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dunsmore dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Patillo lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Patillo lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Dunsmore recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Patillo pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a stinging left uppercut into Dunsmore's body.  
Patillo pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  DUNSMORE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Patillo is looking to close the distance.  Patillo is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Patillo lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DUNSMORE IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Patillo slams a DESTRUCTIVE right hook into Dunsmore's ribcage.  DUNSMORE IS DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE DUNSMORE CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Patillo!
