Joaquin Ocon vs Dimos Fabela

Boxing Daily Report from the BIG STAR PROMOTIONS promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 23/03/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Ocon (8 - 21(1) - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Dimos Fabela(3 - 2 - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Ocon and Fabela weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ora Calvin, and the three ringside judges are Oihane Rossel, Agapetus Vaca and Francisco Amaya.  

Round 1: 

Ocon tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a cross, but Fabela blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fabela tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.  Fabela throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Ocon to the neutral corner.  He warns Fabela that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.

Ocon feints a jab, tricking Fabela into throwing a right hook counter.  Ocon springs the trap and counters with  a left uppercut.

Ocon is looking to close the distance.  As Ocon tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Fabela has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
