EOD Running: Pre Show
Ian Lanman vs Montel Basilio

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Football), Los Angeles,  taking place on 24/04/2044:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Lanman (25(23) - 3) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Montel The Brush Basilio(57(10) - 26(14) - 3) from Curitiba, Brazil.  Both Lanman and Basilio weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mason Boyter, and the three ringside judges are Bradley Eade, Sam Leamon and Zach Alanis.  

Round 1: 

Basilio pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lanman lands a straight 1 - 2.  Lanman throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lanman is looking to close the distance.  Basilio throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Basilio is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lanman attempts to land a jab, but Basilio dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lanman lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Lanman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lanman is on target with a jab.  
Lanman advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Lanman lands a right hook.  
Lanman lands with a spiteful jab.  Lanman throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Lanman hits home with a firm left hook.  
Lanman steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lanman clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Basilio pushes his forearm into Lanman's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Basilio about fouling.  Lanman throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Basilio steps away from his opponent.  Lanman is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Lanman lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Basilio now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Lanman drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Lanman closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Lanman lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lanman advances into close range.  Lanman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and SLAMS a MASSIVE right hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE BASILIO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Basilio recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Lanman slams a spiteful left hook into Basilio's body.  BASILIO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Basilio almost instantly recovers. 
Lanman closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Basilio's ribs.  
Basilio throws a left hook, but Lanman ties up his opponent.  Lanman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Lanman and breaks the clinch.  
Lanman steps inside and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  Lanman holds on to his opponent.  Lanman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lanman pushes his forearm into Basilio's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lanman to stop fouling.  
Basilio tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Lanman closes the distance and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Basilio drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Basilio attempts to land a right hook, but Lanman parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Basilio throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Basilio's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Basilio's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Basilio's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Basilio's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Lanman digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lanman is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Lanman throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lanman digs in a forceful left uppercut to Basilio's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE BASILIO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Basilio almost instantly recovers.

Lanman lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Basilio quickly recovers.

Lanman manages to force Basilio onto the ropes.  Lanman is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Lanman slams a big right hook into his opponents body.  BASILIO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Lanman crashes a big right uppercut to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES BASILIO!  He manages to get up at 4.  Basilio now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
