Henry Spotswood vs Robert Purcell

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at The Vic Theater, Chicago,  taking place on 19/03/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Henry Spotswood (9(5) - 0) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and Robert Purcell(3 - 1 - 2) from Memphis, USA.  Both Spotswood and Purcell weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Will Girvin, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Humphries, Rob Dockter and Alec Skonieczny.  

Round 1: 

Purcell attempts to land a cross, but Spotswood slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Spotswood is on target with a left hook to Purcell's body.  Spotswood holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Spotswood pushes his forearm into Purcell's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Spotswood to stop fouling.  
Purcell throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Purcell's ribs.  
Spotswood drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Spotswood holds on to his opponent.  Spotswood uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Purcell behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Spotswood quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Purcell throws a right hook, but Spotswood holds on to his opponent.  Spotswood is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Spotswood's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Spotswood lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.

Spotswood slams a DESTRUCTIVE right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  PURCELL IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Spotswood!
