James Ghant vs Stephen Watterson

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at The Vic Theater, Chicago,  taking place on 19/03/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are James Ghant (9(7) - 0) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Stephen Watterson(1 - 1(1)) from Richmond, Canada.  Both Ghant and Watterson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Will Girvin, and the three ringside judges are Rob Dockter, Ewan Humphries and Alec Skonieczny.  

Round 1: 

Watterson steps inside.  Ghant lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ghant lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Watterson gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Ghant clinches his opponent.  Ghant uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Watterson behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ghant gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  Ghant ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ghant pushes his forearm into Watterson's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ghant about fouling.  
Ghant digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Ghant ties up his opponent.  Ghant leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ghant closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Ghant throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Watterson tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Ghant cuts off the ring, trapping Watterson in a corner.  Ghant is on target with a sharp left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ghant dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Watterson throws a left hook, but Ghant ties up his opponent.  Ghant leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Watterson pushes his forearm into Ghant's face.  The ref breaks Ghant's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ghant lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Ghant lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Watterson lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Ghant lands a sharp jab.  
Ghant digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  Ghant holds on to his opponent.  Ghant is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
