John McCaw vs Xalvador Rubio

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at MVP Arena, Albany,  taking place on 17/04/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John McCaw (27(21) - 1(1)) who hails from Nashville, USA and Xalvador Rubio(24(18) - 0) from Havana, Cuba.  Both McCaw and Rubio weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Giancola, and the three ringside judges are Elias Linares, Lee King and Rob Wean.
