Raiden Fujino vs Aki Konya

Boxing Daily Report from the BUSHIDO Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Fujioka, Sapporo,  taking place on 27/03/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raiden Fujino (7(3) - 1) who hails from Asahikawa, Japan and Aki Konya(5 - 9(2) - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Fujino and Konya weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuichi Sano, and the three ringside judges are Aki Mizuno, Eiji Aoki and Jiro Yokoyama.  

Round 1: 

Konya lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Fujino gets on the inside.  Konya attempts to land a right hook, but Fujino dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Fujino lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Fujino forces Konya to retreat onto the ropes.  Fujino lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Fujino lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fujino finds the target with a jab.  
Fujino closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Fujino ties up his opponent.  Fujino tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Konya's kidney. 
Fujino lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fujino walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Konya throws a left uppercut, but Fujino holds on to his opponent.  Konya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Konya.  
Konya throws a right hook, but Fujino holds on to his opponent.  Fujino is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Fujino's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Fujino lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fujino pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Fujino digs in a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Fujino closes the distance.  Fujino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Fujino throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Fujino ties up his opponent.  Fujino leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Fujino pushes his forearm into Konya's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fujino about fouling.  
Fujino lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fujino manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Fujino digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Fujino lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Konya is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Fujino blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fujino gets on the inside and whips in a spiteful left hook to Konya's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE KONYA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Fujino knows Konya is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Fujino digs in a telling left uppercut to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES KONYA!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Konya now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Fujino pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fujino lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Fujino ties up his opponent.  Konya is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Fujino lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KONYA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Konya quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Konya's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Konya's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Konya's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Fujino drives a firm right uppercut into Konya's body.  Fujino tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Fujino hits home with a left hook.  
Fujino connects with a left hook.  
Fujino gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fujino lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS KONYA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Fujino connects with a right uppercut.  
Fujino is on target with a right hook to Konya's ribs.  
Fujino lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fujino finds the target with a jab.  
Fujino drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Fujino steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head, AND KNOCKS KONYA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Fujino stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Fujino lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING KONYA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Konya now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Fujino closes the distance.  Fujino lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Fujino holds on to his opponent.  Fujino leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fujino dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Fujino thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Konya away.  Fujino lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND KNOCKS KONYA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Konya has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Fujino advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Fujino steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Fujino knows Konya is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Fujino lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS KONYA TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Fujino!
