Rodrigo Alcocer vs Manuel Pedroza

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Asuncion Lujano, Asuncion,  taking place on 04/04/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Paraguay-Asuncion Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Alcocer (6 - 5 - 1) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Manuel Pedroza(7(2) - 0) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Alcocer weighed in at 134 pounds and 2 ounces, while Pedroza weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Senon Chino, and the three ringside judges are Desiderio Rubio, Rodrigo Gordillo and Juan Lainez.

Alcocer steps away from his opponent.  Pedroza lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Alcocer gets on the inside.  Pedroza pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Alcocer.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.

Pedroza steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Alcocer in the corner.  Pedroza lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head, KNOCKING ALCOCER DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Alcocer quickly recovers.

Pedroza forces Alcocer to retreat onto the ropes.  Pedroza lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.
