Berto Lavin vs Jose Mendivil

Boxing Daily Report from the Leon de Juda promoted show at Montevideo Regino, Montevideo,  taking place on 07/04/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berto Lavin (1 - 11 - 2) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Jose Mendivil(2 - 3 - 1(NC)) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Lavin weighed in at 159 pounds and 6 ounces, while Mendivil weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Berto Beltre, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Barco, Juan Jacinto and Jair Vilchis.
