David Lapsley vs Henry Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Massachusetts promoted show at Ken Selkirk Gym, Boston,  taking place on 05/04/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Lapsley (12 - 15(1) - 6) who hails from Boston, USA and Henry Jones(3 - 3 - 1) from Boston, USA.  Lapsley weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces, while Jones weighed in at 129 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richard Gwenn, and the three ringside judges are Oliver McCleese, Richie MacIsaac and Owen Saunders.  

Round 1: 

Lapsley is on target with a cross.

Jones lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  As Lapsley tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Jones dabs at his face checking for damage.
