Hypnos Caras vs Hernan Barreto

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Griffin Park, London,  taking place on 16/04/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hypnos Caras (8(5) - 0) who hails from Athens, Greece and Hernan Barreto(7 - 6(1)) from Alcala de Henares, Spain.  Caras weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces, while Barreto weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tommy MacNeal, and the three ringside judges are Sam Stalker, Dominic Sayer and Mark Cossutta.  

Round 1: 

Caras lands a ramrod jab.  
Barreto steps inside and throws a left hook, but Caras ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Caras pushes his forearm into Barreto's face.  The referee warns Caras and breaks the clinch.  
Caras is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Barreto recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Caras switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Caras lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Caras finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Caras feints a left, and then lands a jab.

Caras lands with a spiteful jab.  
Barreto walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Barreto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Caras lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Barreto steps inside and throws a left hook, but Caras clinches his opponent.  Caras leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Caras pivots from in front of his opponent.  Caras lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Caras holds on to his opponent.  Caras throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Caras and breaks the clinch.  
Caras steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Caras is on target with a cross.  
Caras lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Caras lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caras finds the target with a jab.  
Caras lands a jab.  
Barreto gets on the inside.  Caras connects with a right uppercut.  
Barreto hits home with a cross.  
Barreto gets on the inside.  Caras whips in a big right uppercut to his opponents body.  BARRETO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Barreto almost instantly recovers. 
Caras switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Caras lands a straight 1 - 2.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barreto's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Barreto's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Barreto steps inside and throws a left hook, but Caras ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Barreto pushes his forearm into Caras's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Barreto.  
Caras lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caras switches the action to the outside.  Caras sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Barreto quickly recovers. 
Caras lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Caras lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Caras hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Barreto gets on the inside.  Caras connects with a hurtful left hook.  BARRETO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Barreto quickly recovers. 
Caras steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caras quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Barreto advances into close range.  Caras is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Caras lands a left hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Caras!
