Kris Jones vs Isidro Balan

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 28/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kris the Missle Jones (62(42) - 12(10) - 2) who hails from Centennial, USA and Isidro Balan(28(1) - 7(6) - 1) from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina.  Jones weighed in at 175 pounds, while Balan weighed in at 175 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jack Apted, and the three ringside judges are Euan Bowens, Ian Pitcairn and George Donn.  

Round 1:

Balan closes the distance and forces Jones to back into the ropes.  Jones lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Jones holds on to his opponent.  Jones pushes his forearm into Balan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Jones about fouling.  
Balan is looking to close the distance.  Jones pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jones is looking to keep his distance and lands a big overhand right.  IT LOOKS LIKE BALAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Balan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Jones lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Jones tries to land an overhand right, but Balan blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Jones tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Balan quickly recovers.
