Diego Marmol vs Gig Grimaldo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Santiago promoted show at Las Condes Alonzo, Las Condes,  taking place on 06/04/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Marmol (9(1) - 3(1)) who hails from Puente Alto, Chile and Gig Grimaldo(10 - 9(2) - 3) from La Florida, Chile.  Both Marmol and Grimaldo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Leyva, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Burgos, Porfio Cristobal and Joaquin Estopinal.  

Round 1: 

Marmol connects with a right uppercut.

Marmol closes the distance.  Marmol pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Grimaldo is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  Grimaldo attempts to land an overhand right, but Marmol slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Marmol gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Grimaldo throws a left hook, but Marmol holds on to his opponent.  Marmol leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Marmol's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
