Pradeep Bajpal vs Baldev Merkondar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Aftab Azizi Gym, Mumbai,  taking place on 22/12/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pradeep Bajpal (6 - 2) who hails from Mumbai, India and Baldev Merkondar(8 - 0) from New Delhi, India.  Bajpal weighed in at 200 pounds, while Merkondar weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jasvinder Kapoor, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Ghazal, Kishore Dadwal and Kishore Subramaniam.
