Francois Bernanos vs Waltier Roussel

Boxing Daily Report from the Dakessian Promotions promoted show at Lyon Belgard, Lyon,  taking place on 30/03/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Francois Bernanos (2(2) - 0) who hails from Rennes, France and Waltier Roussel(11 - 12(1) - 6) from Paris, France.  Both Bernanos and Roussel weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gregory Dacoury, and the three ringside judges are Boyce Jacob, Etienne Fillion and Mallory Barse.  

Round 1: 

Bernanos steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Bernanos clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bernanos pushes his forearm into Roussel's face.  The referee warns Bernanos and breaks the clinch.  
Roussel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bernanos lands with a ramrod jab.  
Bernanos lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Bernanos gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Bernanos closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Roussel switches the action to the outside.  Bernanos lands a jab to the body, an overhand right to the head and a cross to the head.  
Bernanos pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Bernanos gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Bernanos lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Bernanos sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Roussel throws a left hook, but Bernanos ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Bernanos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bernanos pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a FEARSOME right hook.  ROUSSEL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Roussel recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Bernanos walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bernanos lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bernanos lands a stinging left hook.  
Bernanos is on target with a jab.  
Roussel is looking to keep his distance.  Bernanos hits home with a cross.  
Bernanos tries to land a left hook, but Roussel sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Bernanos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bernanos closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bernanos gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Bernanos sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bernanos is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Bernanos throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bernanos lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bernanos advances into close range.  Bernanos pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bernanos lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Bernanos senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Roussel and just needs the right shot.  Bernanos lands a right uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES ROUSSEL!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.

Bernanos closes the distance.  As Roussel tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bernanos dabs at his face checking for damage.
