Khudaverdi Noor vs Etiqad Taha

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Lankaran promoted show at Masally Mannan, Masally,  taking place on 13/04/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Khudaverdi Noor (22(16) - 4(2)) who hails from Jalilabad, Azerbaijan and Etiqad Taha(20 - 13(6) - 2) from Jalilabad, Azerbaijan.  Noor weighed in at 121 pounds And 6 ounces, while Taha weighed in at 122 pounds And 11 ounces.    As Taha came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Nurshan Melikov, and the three ringside judges are Nurshan Melikov, Rizvan Alasgarov and Arif Amirhanov.  

Round 1:

Noor is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Noor feints a cross, tricking Taha into countering with a cross.  Noor springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Noor steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Taha advances into close range.  Noor digs in a left hook to Taha's liver.  
Noor steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Noor is on target with a cross.  
Noor is on target with a telling cross to his opponents body.  TAHA IS HURT!  
Taha could be stopped here, if Noor can find the right shot!  Noor lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES TAHA!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Taha has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Taha walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Noor lands a straight 1 - 2.  Noor tries to land a left hook, but Taha sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Noor's ribs.  
Noor tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a firm cross.  
Noor lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Noor tries to land a cross, but Taha sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  Taha quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Taha's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Taha's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Taha's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Taha closes the distance.  Noor pivots to the right of his opponent.  Noor lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Noor holds on to his opponent.  Noor pushes his forearm into Taha's face.  The ref breaks Noor's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Noor is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Noor sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Noor hits home with an overhand right.  
Noor feints a cross, but Taha is not fooled and lands with a left uppercut.  
Noor lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Taha advances into close range and manouvers Noor onto the ropes.  Noor is on target with a MASSIVE right hook.  TAHA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Noor clinches his opponent.  Noor hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Noor's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Taha almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Noor switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Noor is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body, an overhand right to the head and a cross to the head.  
Noor lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head, AND SENDS TAHA TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Noor!
