Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Bellagio Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas,  taking place on 09/04/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Alen Rielly (22(20) - 0) who hails from Stamford, USA and Michael Catania(25 - 11 - 2) from New York City, USA.  Both Rielly and Catania weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Gibson, and the three ringside judges are Will Cerezo, George Ramo and David Finnie.  

Round 1: 

Rielly lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rielly is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging right hook to Catania's ribcage.  Rielly clinches his opponent.  Rielly pushes his forearm into Catania's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Rielly closes the distance and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rielly is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  Rielly holds on to his opponent.  Rielly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rielly advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rielly lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND CATANIA IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Rielly holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rielly pushes his forearm into Catania's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rielly about fouling.  Catania recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rielly lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Catania almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rielly steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Rielly digs in a solid left hook to Catania's body.  Rielly ties up his opponent.  Rielly is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rielly lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Rielly holds on to his opponent.  Rielly is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Rielly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rielly is on target with a right hook to Catania's body.  
Rielly lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Rielly digs in a stinging right uppercut to Catania's ribs.  
Rielly throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Rielly ties up his opponent.  Rielly leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rielly closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS CATANIA TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rielly!
