Cuba Malle vs Peter Lekimeju

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Amalie Arena, Tampa,  taking place on 17/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cuba Malle (24(19) - 0) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Peter Lekimeju(37(36) - 11(11)) from Machakos, Kenya.  Malle weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces, while Lekimeju weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theo Ines, and the three ringside judges are Rob Crumb, Nasario Claudio and Ian Soulis.  

Round 1: 

Malle closes the distance.  Malle pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lekimeju digs in a left hook to Malle's body.

Lekimeju sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Malle's ribs.

Malle steps inside.  Lekimeju quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp right uppercut.

Malle switches the action to the outside.  Lekimeju throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a forceful cross.  LEKIMEJU WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Malle could be enough to finish Lekimeju!  Malle lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head, KNOCKING LEKIMEJU DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Lekimeju has now recovered from that shot earlier.
