Peter Hetaraka vs Glynn Aikins

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Brendan Adam Gym, Manukau,  taking place on 27/12/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Hetaraka (9 - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Glynn Aikins(5 - 4 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Hetaraka and Aikins weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Vaughan, and the three ringside judges are Justin Kahukakanui, Colin Lawder and Hamahona Kurawhatia.  

Round 1: 

Hetaraka lands a cross.  
Hetaraka is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Hetaraka ties up his opponent.  Aikins is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Aikins and breaks the clinch.

Hetaraka is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Hetaraka holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hetaraka pushes his forearm into Aikins's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hetaraka.
