Godfrey Amosun vs Aftab Akhter

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Robert Achike Gym, Kano,  taking place on 27/12/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Godfrey Amosun (9 - 1) who hails from Lagos, Nigeria and Aftab Akhter(6(1) - 1) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Amosun and Akhter weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theophilus Adeniran, and the three ringside judges are Gbolahan Adenaike, Rehan Pasha and Rehan Pasha.
