Juwon Verissimo vs Emem Akide

Boxing Daily Report from the Batabaire Promotions promoted show at Imran Ghaffari Gym, Kaduna,  taking place on 27/12/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juwon Verissimo (9 - 0) who hails from Zaria, Nigeria and Emem Akide(8 - 1) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Both Verissimo and Akide weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mudashiru Akanji, and the three ringside judges are Ifeanyi Chukwudi, James Ezenwaka and Saad Baksh.
