Dakarai Makwaza vs Tabari Habwaanga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Kitwe Chintu, Kitwe,  taking place on 16/04/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dakarai Makwaza (18(7) - 5) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Tabari Habwaanga(6 - 3 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Makwaza weighed in at 122 pounds, while Habwaanga weighed in at 121 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tavarius Kasanka, and the three ringside judges are Kwau Ndovi, Udenwa Mhani and Tavon Muyunda.  

Round 1: 

Makwaza gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Habwaanga's ribs.  
Makwaza pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Makwaza walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Makwaza lands two left uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Makwaza lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Makwaza steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Makwaza closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Makwaza lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Makwaza lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Makwaza quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Habwaanga attempts to land a right hook, but Makwaza blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Makwaza digs in a right hook to Habwaanga's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Habwaanga's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Habwaanga's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Makwaza advances into close range and digs in a firm right hook to Habwaanga's ribs.  HABWAANGA IS HURT!  
Makwaza thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Habwaanga away.  Makwaza lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Habwaanga now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Makwaza lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Makwaza forces Habwaanga to back into the red corner.  Makwaza lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Makwaza attempts to land a left uppercut, but Habwaanga blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Makwaza's ribs.  
Habwaanga pivots to the left of his opponent.  Makwaza lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS HABWAANGA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Habwaanga steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Makwaza hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Habwaanga pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Makwaza's body.  
Makwaza steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Makwaza closes the distance.  Makwaza is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Makwaza whips in a mean right uppercut to his opponents body.  HABWAANGA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Makwaza is on target with a telling left uppercut to his opponents body.  HABWAANGA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Makwaza closes the distance.  Makwaza lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS HABWAANGA!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Makwaza lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, KNOCKING HABWAANGA DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Makwaza!
