Desiderio Charo vs Vicente Lerma

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Panama-Panama State promoted show at Hotel Veneto, Panama City,  taking place on 18/04/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Panama Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Desiderio Charo (20(11) - 1) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Vicente Lerma(14(3) - 1) from San Miguelito, Panama.  Both Charo and Lerma weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Rio Mazariegos, Alano Batista and Ricardo Favela.

He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES LERMA!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Lerma has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Charo steps to the outside.  Charo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lerma lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Charo is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Lerma walks Charo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lerma is on target with a left hook to Charo's ribs.  
Charo switches the action to the outside and connects with a VICIOUS cross.  LERMA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Charo tries to land a jab, but Lerma slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Charo's body.  
Charo knows Lerma is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Charo lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND LERMA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Lerma now seems to have got his legs back.  
Charo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two straights to the body, and one to the head, AND LERMA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.

Charo steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Charo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Lerma is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Lerma attempts to land a left hook, but Charo sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Lerma tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Charo finds the target with a jab.  
Charo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS LERMA!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Lerma can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Charo!
