Ouida Tcheumaleu vs James Messier

Boxing Daily Report from the Hamidou Promotions promoted show at Garoua Makanaky, Garoua,  taking place on 18/04/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ouida Tcheumaleu (15(6) - 5(1)) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and James Messier(13 - 22(2) - 4) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Tcheumaleu and Messier weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montrose Bourdelle, and the three ringside judges are Ferrand Baute, Bruce Kamgaing and Javier Feutmba.  

Round 1: 

Tcheumaleu closes the distance and lands a solid right hook.  Tcheumaleu ties up his opponent.  Tcheumaleu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tcheumaleu.  
Messier tries to keep the action at long range.  Tcheumaleu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Tcheumaleu is looking to close the distance.  Tcheumaleu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tcheumaleu connects with a sharp right hook.  Tcheumaleu holds on to his opponent.  Tcheumaleu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Tcheumaleu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tcheumaleu lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
