Ellis Hillhouse vs Dale Jerden

Boxing Daily Report from the Phantom Fights promoted show at London Kempe, London,  taking place on 19/04/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Hillhouse (2 - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Dale Jerden(25 - 28(7) - 2) from Hamilton, Canada.  Both Hillhouse and Jerden weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Skilling, and the three ringside judges are Paul Myron, Brad Carrick and Arthur Dunkin.  

Round 1: 

Jerden pivots from in front of his opponent.  Hillhouse finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Hillhouse steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Hillhouse is on target with a jab.  
Hillhouse closes the distance.  Hillhouse quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Hillhouse is on target with a left uppercut.  
Jerden stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Hillhouse lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden forces Hillhouse to retreat onto the ropes.  Hillhouse hits home with a cross.  
Jerden steps to the outside.  Hillhouse feints a right, and then lands a jab.  
Hillhouse advances into close range and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hillhouse pivots to the side of his opponent.  Jerden tries to land a left uppercut, but Hillhouse slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Hillhouse pivots from in front of his opponent.  Hillhouse lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Hillhouse clinches his opponent.  Hillhouse leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hillhouse sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Hillhouse advances into close range and forces Jerden to retreat onto the ropes.  Hillhouse digs in a left hook to Jerden's body.  
Hillhouse steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jerden's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Jerden's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
