Danny Larimer vs Sam Hathorn

Boxing Daily Report from the Shima-Enaga promoted show at Shima-Enaga Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 28/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Danny Larimer (3 - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Sam Hathorn(0 - 12) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Larimer and Hathorn weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Brodrick, and the three ringside judges are Matt Dawe, Clint Morgan and Davie Bach.  

Round 1: 

Larimer is looking to close the distance.  Larimer sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hathorn attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action. Larimer sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Hathorn forces Larimer to back into the ropes.  Hathorn connects with a left uppercut.  
Larimer lands a left hook.  Larimer ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Larimer pushes his forearm into Hathorn's face.  The referee warns Larimer and breaks the clinch.  
Larimer drives a left hook into Hathorn's liver.  Larimer holds on to his opponent.  Larimer tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hathorn's kidney. The ref breaks Larimer's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Larimer lands a cross.  
Larimer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Larimer attempts to land a jab, but Hathorn slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Larimer advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Hathorn's body.  
Larimer lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Larimer clinches his opponent.  Larimer throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Larimer about fouling.
