Zhong Voon vs Deshi Poon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Hubei promoted show at Wuhan Tse, Wuhan,  taking place on 21/04/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the China-Hubei Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on His TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zhong Voon (4 - 1(1)) who hails from Yichang, China and Deshi Poon(7(6) - 1) from Wuhan, China.  Both Voon and Poon weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fo-hai Hsien, and the three ringside judges are Li-Liang Chien, Li-Liang Chien and Yong Huie.  

Round 1: 

Poon steps inside and is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Voon tries to keep the action at long range and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Poon lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Poon attempts to land a right uppercut, but Voon parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Poon steps inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Poon pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Poon walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Poon lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Poon lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Poon closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to Voon's ribs.  Poon attempts to land a left hook, but Voon blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Poon lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Voon recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Poon gets on the inside and forces Voon to retreat onto the ropes.  Voon hits home with a right hook.

Voon steps to the outside.  Voon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Voon throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.

Voon now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
