Joaquin Lobo vs Vicente Lacayo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-San Salvador promoted show at San Salvador Damaso, San Salvador,  taking place on 22/04/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the El Salvador-San Salvador Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Lobo (7(2) - 1) who hails from Mejicanos, El Salvador and Vicente Lacayo(13 - 16 - 2) from Mejicanos, El Salvador.  Lobo weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces, while Lacayo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Navar, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Madera, Joaquin Arena and Rodrigo Calle.  

Round 1:

Lacayo closes the distance and forces Lobo to back into the ropes.  Lacayo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lacayo throws a right hook, but Lobo holds on to his opponent.  Lobo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lobo pushes his forearm into Lacayo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lobo to stop fouling.  
Lacayo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Lobo lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a cross to the head.  
Lobo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Lobo steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Lobo hits home with an overhand right.

Lobo is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Lacayo is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Lobo clinches his opponent.  Lacayo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Lobo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lobo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lobo drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Lacayo throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Lobo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Lobo digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Lobo throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lacayo's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Lacayo advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Lobo clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Lacayo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lobo connects with a left uppercut.  
Lobo lands a right hook to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Lobo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Lacayo steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Lobo steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Lobo lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Lobo senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Lacayo and just needs the right shot.  Lobo lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Lobo is looking to keep his distance.  Lobo lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND LACAYO IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Lacayo closes the distance.  Lobo lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING LACAYO TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Lobo!
