Leonardo Lacerda vs Pedro Maes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Carabobo promoted show at Njovu Gym, Valencia,  taking place on 02/01/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Leonardo Lacerda (6 - 5 - 1) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Pedro Maes(6 - 3 - 2) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Lacerda weighed in at 138 pounds and 14 ounces, while Maes weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reyes Monico, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Quintanar, Felippe Ledo and Elias Irene.
