Gennady Gharylcassyn vs Koldan Askerov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uzbekistan-Samarqand promoted show at Javad Abutalybov Gym, Samarqand,  taking place on 03/01/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uzbekistan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gennady Gharylcassyn (6 - 1) who hails from Samarqand, Uzbekistan and Koldan Askerov(7 - 0) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Gharylcassyn and Askerov weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yusif Humbatov, and the three ringside judges are Mahir Azizi, Yaman Tahirov and Toma Ablyazoff.
