Gig Somero vs Vegas Gallego

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Managua promoted show at Isidro Preciado Gym, Managua,  taking place on 29/04/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Somero (12 - 8(4) - 2) who hails from Tipitapa, Nicaragua and Vegas Gallego(10 - 14(2) - 3) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Somero and Gallego weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zacarias Leyba, and the three ringside judges are Neron Limes, Santiago Mazo and Salvador Oyola.  

Round 1: 

Gallego feints a cross and triggers a right hook counter from Somero.  Gallego is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gallego closes the distance.  Somero attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Gallego time to recover.
