Emem Aluka vs Ian Thompson

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Julius Dyegh Gym, Kano,  taking place on 29/04/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Emem Aluka (7 - 17 - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Ian Thompson(11 - 4 - 4) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Aluka and Thompson weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Pasha, and the three ringside judges are Efe Adadevoh, Jay-Jay Ukaegbu and James Obekpa.  

Round 1: 

Aluka finds the target with a jab.  
Thompson attempts to land a cross, but Aluka parries the shot and counters with a cross.
