Neil MacLaughlin vs Leon Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Raven Promotions promoted show at Memphis McColloch, Memphis,  taking place on 06/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil MacLaughlin (6 - 10 - 1) who hails from Nashville, USA and Leon Owen(29(13) - 9(1)) from Nashville, USA.  MacLaughlin weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Owen weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Blagg, and the three ringside judges are Robert Davidson, Clint Blagg and Chris Rufino.  

Round 1: 

Owen lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Owen holds on to his opponent.  Owen pushes his forearm into MacLaughlin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Owen about fouling.  
Owen lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.
