Berto Galicia vs Seferino Montalvo

Boxing Daily Report from the Kajura Promotions promoted show at Maracaibo Macia, Maracaibo,  taking place on 06/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Zulia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berto Galicia (6 - 23(1) - 3) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Seferino Montalvo(8 - 9 - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Galicia weighed in at 160 pounds, while Montalvo weighed in at 160 pounds And 15 ounces.    As Montalvo came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Hilario Florian, and the three ringside judges are Xavier Gonsalez, Alejandro Rayo and Diego Mato.  

Round 1: 

Galicia tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Montalvo lands a right hook.  
Montalvo pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Montalvo is on target with a left hook.  
Montalvo walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Montalvo tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Montalvo's liver.  
Montalvo gets on the inside.  Galicia goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Montalvo time to recover.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Galicia's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Montalvo's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
